All geocachers are invited to the 9th annual WGA Geo-Picnic, to be
held at Brunet State Park, near Cornell. Brunet State Park, is on
the Chippewa river, and is a 1,200 acre state park of scenic
beauty, hiking trails and wildlife.
Geocaches in the area: There are 15 currently published
caches within or near the park on the Old Abe Trail. By the time of
the event, there will be many more caches in the park, and nearby
to make a full weekend of caching possible who wish to cache the
entire weekend.

Learn a little bit about your fellow geocachers while playing a fun
game of BINGO.
We will be drawing for a special prize from the "blacked out" cards
and more from the cards turned in with at least one bingo.
Tickets will be handed out when you turn in your card. Must be
present to win.
GeoGolf
Pick a point somewhere in the park near the area
described on the geogolf contest page, which you can pick up when
you register. Write down the coordinates of where you think the
"pin" is. The three closest to the "Pin" will receive WGA
prizes!
1st place: WGA 2011 Geocoin and a $25 gas card
2nd place: WGA 2011 Geocoin
3rd place: WGA 2011 Geopicnic T-shirt

Attendance Raffle
We will be holding a raffle for other door prizes following the
Group Picture at 4:30 For this drawing, you must be present to
win. We have many great geocaching items for door prizes.

Fees
All are welcome to attend, and there is no fee to register or to
attend. However, please note that the Wisconsin DNR does require a
valid State Parks sticker for all vehicles entereing the park.
State Park stickers are available at the park entrance.
Camping
Late season camping at Brunet Island State Park is on a first come
first serve system. No reservations are available. However, there
should be adequate sites available for those who wish to
camp.

For sale at the Picnic will be a limited amount of event Pathtags
and T-shirts featuring a wonderful Bald Eagle/American Flag design
by sweetlife. Also for sale will be the new 2011 WGA Geocoins as
well as general WGA t-shirts and sweatshirts.
