In 2004 the Eastern Iowa Geocachers Association (EIGA) discussed going state-wide and an interested group of geocachers from across the state met at the Great Plains Sauce and Dough Company in Ames one evening to discuss this. Shortly after that meeting the Iowa Geocachers Organization was formed. A set of proposed bylaws were written by Windchill and Summitt Dweller in the cab of a pickup truck (5th wheel in tow) on the way back home from MOGA II (in March 2005).
Please join us at the conclusion of Hike-N-Seek 2017 where it all began at noon on Sunday, September 24. Enjoy some great pizza as we conclude a great Hike-N-Seek. Space is limited at Great Plains so get their early.
