Contiguous United States Numbers Run. West Orange doesn’t have anything on East Seminole County Geocachers. Over 50 caches in a five mile stretch of road.
Not to be outdone by Jarrod88’s recent power run in Apopka, we cachers here in Seminole County are responding with a numbers run of our own. Just so those loading these caches directly into their GPS’s might be concerned about the naming of the caches being the same, these are all uniquely named.
This numbers run is all about the United States. The alphabetic run of the contiguous United States will lead Geocachers down a very pleasant trek on a major road in Seminole County. Cachers will be able to hike or bike the whole route with ease. Taking your geocar or geovan out here is NOT recommended. Park in a legal area and hike or bike to all the caches. All caches will be in easy reach of the sidewalks and right of way along this whole route. Some minor bushwhacking might be needed so dress appropriately. Just like Jarrod88’s caches, these are all film canisters. Some are on the ground, some are off the ground, some in bushes, and some in trees. All are fairly easy PnG’s which will make your caching experience a breeze. They are camo’ed so don’t expect them to be staring back at you. Enjoy yourself and the caching environment. Bring a CITO bag with you to spruce up the environment should you see any trash.
FTF’s for these caches are the pristine cache logs awaiting your caching monikers, date and time. Make a day of it and enjoy it. This will be a fun experience.
Please put each cache back just the way you found it and let stealth be the watch word so as to not expose each cache to the unknowing muggles in the area. As you move east on the major thoroughfare, you will be getting further from the urban areas so try to go caching with two or people just to be on the safe side. Only Geocachers know how much fun there is out there.
