A short series of caches which can be readily combined into a fine walk in all seasons. Magnificent footpaths linked by a few short stretches of quiet back roads makes an easy walk whatever the weather. Watch out for a miriad of wildlife along the way.
Lots of points to join the loop - I chose to start at Holme Well just south of Low Cunsey and walked the loop anti-clockwise starting with a great section northwards along the lakeside.
If heading from A Cunsey Loop II continue west along the footpath to the road bear left , left again past Eel House to an obvious well signed track to Cunsey. Follow the track towards the Forge and an easy find will be had along the way.
Continue along the track to the Cunsey road and back to the start.
