Canuck See The Woods For The Trees Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

seventytwo: It looks like this cache has been removed for whatever reason. Looking at the logs it probably happened around the end of March 2021 (I'm counting the one find in that time as spurious). The hide area has changed a bit in the 20 years it was placed so I couldn't even find the original tree with 100% confidence myself.

It's a shame, but it's done well to be there as long as it has, there weren't anywhere near as many caches when it was placed. I'm not planning to replace it with a new one.

So, end of an era maybe, I want to thank everyone who has visited it over the years.

Happy geocaching.

David.

Geocache Description:

Located in a small wood off Kenilworth Road, Coventry.

This cache is placed in Wainbody woods, probably best accessed from The Spinney (where you can also park though they've painted double-yellow lines recently). It is placed a little off one of the trails that run around the woods, it was somewhat clear to access when placing it, but at some points in the year you may want to watch out for brambles.

The contents are the result of my finds while Geocaching in Canada with TinFoilBall and FuzzyBunny. It's a small tupperware 'Lock & Lock' container. The cache was started with the following items:

Home-made Geocaching Bunny magnet!! (made by FuzzyBunny).
Canada keychain.
Plastic toy car.
Plastic Walrus.
Comemorative Terry Fox loonie (Canadian one dollar coin).
Inland Diesel patch.
BC Wildlife patch.
Blue metal whistle.
100 dollar bill bouncy ball.
Orange plastic clip
Toronto High Park Little League pin.
Geocaching.com smashed penny.
A coin, Swedish maybe.

There are some other bits and bobs that I don't recall.

Hope you enjoy finding it, the tree coverage made getting accurate co-ordinates rather difficult so I welcome any feedback on the accuracy of those or any aspect of the cache (as it is my first one!).
