Come on out to the ranch for some fun, bring a lunch, camera, friend's, or just you!
I've recently talked to a few cacher's who had never even heard of Cronan Ranch!
Since creativity seems to peak some peoples interests, some of the best caches I've found, have been in these hills.
I plan on heading for a few caches further out (unless I change my mind) you are welcome to join me,or go your own route, but fair warning, I hike slow, and take pictures along the way! And take breaks!
Cronan does have it's hazards, so be sensible when needed, there is poison oak, if you are going cross country, beware Cronan can be quite soggy at times, with lots of seasonal streams, and yes while it is winter, there, still could be snakes, ticks and the usual wildlife.
Per any of my event's you are welcome to claim CO-FTF, if you sign the logbook.
If it is raining,or has been just before,the event may be cancelled, so keep a eye on the weather, I will be checking and hoping for clear weather!
P.S. I sure hope this get's the attention of some of the "old-time" locals, you know who you are, and that they show up too!
You are welcome to just come to the event, and not hike, I will be in the parking area till 9, then hitting the trails, if you get there after, you are welcome to leave a note on my car for proof ,or a photo of you on the event page that you were here! I own a brownish color Kia Sportage with a kayak rack....
