Geocache Description:

CACHE IS NOT AT POSTED COORDINATES!
Ca-ca-caramba! You've found 35N 11.933 111W 38.921!
This is an easy cereal MATH puzzle.
Ignore spelling, but SWIPE a CURSOR, let your Mouse rest a bit + pencil or calculator. NO NEED FOR GOOGLE, SOURCE CODE OR HISTORY OF KELLOGGS!

Bran, roughly defined, derives from the harD outer layer of cereal Grain and consists of aleurone and pericarp. When companies separate the "germ" from within various grains to produce, e.g., flour, it's bran, a highly nutritious part that is removed, stripping the resultant processed food of a significant portion of the grains' health value. Now, does that sound great to you?
Ah-ah-ahah! Now you've got 35N 12.033 111W 38.821!
Bran may be milled not only from wheat or bArley, but even rice, corn, oats, or millet. Do not confuse Bran with chaff, a scaly material farmers once removed through threshing and winnowing. Chaff is not a part of the grain itself, as anyone from Dakota or Saskatchewan or Manitoba or Alberta would know ("up North").
Da-da-dang! Ya' just found 35N 11.883 111W 38.971!
In general, Bran is rich in dietary fIBer and essential fatty acids as well as significant quantities of starch, protein, vitamins and dietary minerals. Just how much fiber, etc., depends on the grain source.

So when selecting Raisin Bran, no matter how alluring or mouth-watering the face of the box, I'm cautious to examine the Ingredients and nutritional data. Personally, I do NOT prefer bran from corn or rice. And don't forget the raisins! In somE otherwise superb brands, their so-called "raisins" are little more than blue extract smudges, dry and tasteless. Then, you'll find so-called "health food" raisin brans with sugary coatings, high fructose syrup or malt, or with honey-sweetened oat clusters substituting for raisins. Then of course, there're raisin-scimpers that leave otherwise excellent flakes orphaned among all too few raisins! (Man... I'm trying to keep this short, but that's SeVeN lines and those wide spaces...!)

As with books, don't let boX covers fool you. All too often I've been lured into yet another seeming to promise a cascade of fresh, juicy raisins, only two again encounter a big gap between Marketing's decoys and Reality!
Ah, But Come on! Darned it, still out for m0re freebie coordinates? That's crazy!

What's your opinion of those absurd and ubiquitous marketing surveys? As though we had all the time in the world to waste or thought we could win a one-in-twenty-million odds raffle. Think twice before submitting incentive coupons or other forms with your email address and other personal info! And, BTW, wherever we go, we're surrounded by coordinates - what's important is to be organized!
