The Midnight Ride to Nowhere Multi-cache
BlueMoth: I came by to check on the cache today. Someone stole the 50 cal ammo can.
Since the original building isn't here any longer, and the ammo can is now gone, it is time for this cache to retire and open the space for somone else. It had a good run. Thanks to everyone who found it. I hope you had a good ride.

Did you ever take a midnight ride to nowhere? Hop on that old scenicruiser and roll away into the darkness? If you ever came or went out of Portland, this is where your transportation was housed back in the day.
This is an EZ multi. The above coordinates will take you to the ruins. There should be ample parking and both the trolley and city bus will take you within a block or so. You can easily walk to the final coordinates.
Read the name on the front of the building and count how many letters you see. Let that number be X, and let them walk you to the final coordinates:

W122 40.55X
NB: 2/12/13: It has come to my attention the the old building isn't even a pile of rubble anymore. Dang. So here is a hint to find X: What kind of dog runs really fast and whose color is black + white?
If you ever took that midnight ride to nowhere tell us the story when you log the find.
You are looking for an ammo can. As in all neglected places in the city, watch your back.
Rehide the cache well exactly as you found it after signing the log.
For the FTF I have put together your own personal midnight ride to nowhere travel kit. There is a plastic map compass, a map of the Mt. Hood National Forest (if you really want to get away), an LED flashlight, keychain tools, a zipperpull thermometer, and a glass blue moth.
