The First European west of the Rockies, April 12, 1539. This is a drive to, short easy walk to Kid friendly Cache. There is a log book and many "goodies". 1/2 Mile to the south is the Town of Lochiel, on the Mexican border. A good History lesson about our part of the country. It is a wonderful drive down a Beautiful Valley to this spot. Rolling Grasslands, beautiful mountains in the distance. No wonder so many movies, Like Oklahoma and McClintock were made in this area.
