This cache is ONLY available Monday through Saturday from 8 AM till dark and the garden is CLOSED on Sundays.
No night caching and No walking through the neighbors back yards to get to this cache even if you think you can sneak in! Please respect the property owner’s wishes so we can keep this unique Geocache in play.
OK, now for the Geocache Description...
The Sculpture Garden is on an acre of land that takes you on a beautiful tour of the property owners personal garden. It is a work in progress though the owner expects this garden to be fully completed within two years. When completed the garden will feature a pond with a waterfall in the middle. As you search for the cache please take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you located so close to the hustle and bustle of Route 1.
The Sculpture Garden owners name is Thomas Berger; feel free to say "Hi" if you see him out and about and share your experience with him. He can be found most days sculpting in his shop located at the house. He is very friendly and assisted in hiding the Geocache.
***WARNING: THE PIG BITES***
Please use the nearby stone seat and table to sign the logbook. It would also be great if you took a selfie and posted it too!
Directions to Sculpture Garden:
-When entering Maine on the Route 1-Bypass, coming from the Portsmouth, NH traffic circle, it’s the second turn in on the right after crossing the bridge.
-Coming from the North, take the last exit just before the bridge, follow road curving under bridge, enter north-bound, follow 300 yards to the location.
I have also attached the coordinates for the entrance to the parking area.
You are looking for a well camouflaged ammo can inside a fallen tree. Replace and recover as found please.
First to find gets a real treasure; a real silver dollar from the late 1800’s and/or a USS PASADENA (SSN 752) coin. To the victor (FTF) goes the spoils!
