Geocache Description:

Finding this cache is easy, however many early finders have missed that the cache name is PLURAL - there is 3 of them. I feel obligated to point this out because many have accessed the cache using alternative methods and in essence have missed out on some of the fun I tried to create. In addition, I'm hoping to prevent additional damage that has been caused by these methods.

While camping at 1000 springs at the beginning of the summer our friends introduced us to Geocaching.  By chance the first half dozen or so caches we found were what you might call "unique" or "creative" caches.  In fact I have yet to find anything similar to our original finds.  In all honesty, if it wasn't for these first caches I'm not sure that I would have become so consumed by the sport.  Granted, I now find enjoyment in looking for a near by "grab and go" while waiting for my wife at a store that I don't care to go into; I'm not sure that I would still be geocaching if these were the types of caches my friends would have taken me to on my first finds.  Since then Geocaching has taken me and my family to all sorts of places we have never been to, and I grew up here.  In addition it is no longer a challenge to get my young children to hike up a trail anymore... as long as they know there is a cache at the final destination so they can make a trade.

Why am I telling you all of this?  Simply because I'm hoping this cache will give that same sense of excitement I got with my first finds to others new to the sport.  If you are a veteran cacher, hopefully this cache will inspire you to do the same with your next cache placement.

Now, about the cache… There is nothing that special about the location other than a nice section of lawn and a lot of trees.  Parking can be found within a block or so, you can not park streetside on Boise Ave.  Locating the cache is easy, hence the name of the cache.  However, accessing the cache will have you scratching your head.  I have already had a veteran cacher do a trial run for me, thank you will4088, and he pointed out that his first thought was to head back to his truck for some tools.  Sure, you could do this, but you will miss out on the enjoyment of it if you do.  Everything you need to access the cache is at the site.  Since everything is hand made I only ask that you take care with it all.  Due to humidity and potential swelling of the wood things may hang up a bit, but it is pretty straight forward once you have everything in place.  If for some reason the cache isn’t revealed to you please consider e-mailing me before doing something that may permanently damage the cache altogether.

Thanks again to all of the cache owners that have inspired me.
