LOCALIZACIÓN: El Aeromuseo de Málaga está situado en el Aeropuerto de Málaga, junto a la nacional 340 y a la fábrica de cerveza.
CÓMO LLEGAR:
En coche, tome la desviación al aeropuerto desde la carretera Málaga-Torremolinos. En la primera rotonda, siga las señales de ‘Museo’.
En el tren de Málaga-Fuengirola, con parada en el aeropuerto. El Museo está a 15 minutos a pie desde la parada, detrás de la fábrica de cerveza.
En autobús, las más recomendable es la línea 10 de autobuses urbanos Málaga-Aeropuerto
HORARIO: de martes a sábado de 10-14 horas y martes tarde de 17-20 horas.
VISITAS: visita libre y gratuita. No necesita cita previa salvo grupos de más de 15 personas.

HOW TO ARRIVE:
By car, drive the way to the airport from Málaga-Torremolinos road. From the first square besides the beer factory, follow the road sign ‘Museo’.
By train, Málaga-Fuengirola line, airport stop. From there you have to walk about 15 minutes, toward the beer factory.
By bus, take urban line number 10 Málaga-Airport
TIMETABLE: from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am -14 pm. Also Tuesday afternoon, from 17-20 pm.
VISIT: free and no guided visit. No advance booking required, except groups over 15 people.
Este Convair 440 fue el primer charter que impulso el turismo de la Costa del Sol.
Fue una aerolínea finlandesa, KAR AIR, la pionera en traer turismo a la Costa del Sol allá por el año 1959, cambiando para siempre el paisaje, la economía, y la sociedad de esta parte de España.
Este Convair 440 es un bimotor de hélice, construido en Estados Unidos en 1957, con una velocidad de crucero de 450 kilómetros por hora. Fue considerado el mejor avion en los años 60 para volar entre ciudades.
Este primer avión charter, que aterrizó el 20 de octubre de 1959, estrenó la nueva pista de vuelo.
Trajo 48 pasajeros desde Helsinki, en la denominada por la aerolínea la Ruta del Sol. Los 3.000 kilómetros que separan Helsinki de Málaga representaban, con varias escalas, el vuelo más largo que hasta entonces se había hecho en Europa. Miles de finlandeses y escandinavos siguieron cada verano esta Ruta del Sol a lo largo de las décadas de los 50 y los 60.
This Convair 440 was the first charter that inaugurated the touristic boom at the Costa del Sol.
It was Finnish airline, Kar Air, which pioneered the way tourists arrive to the Costa del Sol back in 1959, thereby changing tourism; the landscape; the economy; and society for this part of Spain for-ever.
The Convair 440 is a twin engine propeller powered, built in the United States in 1957, with a flying speed of 450 km per hour. It was considered the best plane in the 60s to travel between cities.
This first charter that landed the 20th of October of 1959, inaugurated the new run way. It carried 48 passengers from Helsinki to Málaga on a route that this airline called “The Route of the Sun”. The 3000 kilometres was, at the time, the longest flight to have been undertaken in Europe, with several stop-over. Many thousand of Finnish and Scandinavian followed this “Route of the Sun” plane throughout the decades of the 1950s and 60s every summer.
