Geocache Description:

Because 16 caches isn't enough, I thought I'd add a few more to the Grantchester Grind series. :-)

Part of an extended series of 20 caches on a walk of 4-5 miles around Grantchester.

Terrain is flat and mostly gravel tracks and bridleways: everything can be cycled comfortably except the first 50 yards or so from the road past cache 01, but be warned that parts are likely to be muddy, even in good weather.

For parking options, see cache 01.

You should be able to spot the cache easily from ground level. It's about fifteen feet (4.5 metres) above ground, and is a black bison tube. The hardest part of the climb is actually getting into the tree -- after that there are plenty of big, thick branches to hold onto and stand on, so you shouldn't have any trouble getting up to the cache or signing the log in situ. Please remember that physically signing the log is a Geocaching requirement. Online logs without corresponding physical signatures will be deleted.

I set the cache with no climbing aids and no injuries, but as with all caches, please remember that you attempt this cache at your own risk. If you have any doubts about your safety, please log a DNF instead, and live to cache another day.
