Earth Day CITO - Goffstown Edition Cache In Trash Out Event

Join us at 8:45 am on Earth Day, April 22 at the Goffstown Parks and Recreation Building to do a CITO along the Goffstown Rail Trail. By 9 am we will have divided into teams to head east or west along the trail. Please remember to bring work gloves, we will provide bags and the P-R Dept has a truck to haul away the trash. This event will go on rain or shine.

Everyone participating will be entered into a raffle to win a CITO mini geocoin.

The first Earth Day was celebrated April 22, 1970 to bring awareness to environmental concerns. This year geocachers world-wide will gather together during the week of April 22-30 to Cache In Trash Out. This can be a family event as the (unpaved) rail trail is accessible for strollers and bicycles. There are geocaches all along the trail as well.

As the event concludes, we will take a group photo and enjoy cookies. You can bring bikes to continue caching along the trail or kayaks/canoes to launch on site for island caches in the lake after the event.
