Order up an ice cream at the nearby drugstore. Have a bite of some of the best country cooking you'll find--at the town's only restaurant. Take the time to peruse the local antique and craft shops. Walk over to as fine an example of an old iron furnace that is still in existence...The cache is an almost-micro made of the standard painted-up Altoids box. Very small items, maybe? Or simply sign the logbook. Due to some pretty varying coords when marking the cache, a potential spoiler...sit in a logical sitting place and bend over to tie the ol' shoe. That ought to do it.
