Museum of Surveying
The Museum of Surveying is the only museum in the United States dedicated
solely to the surveying and mapping profession. The collection features
an unparalleled display of survey artifacts, early instruments, and historical
literature. Exhibits trace the development of surveying from its ancient
origins in Mesopotamia to modern equipment and techniques, emphasizing United
States and Michigan history. Or so they say. :)
I would have asked them if I could place a cache here but the hours that
they are open are not good for cachers. M-F 9-4 closed Sat and Sun. Not
good for the working or weekend cacher.
But as luck would have it!!!! There is a mural on the side of the buliding.
Now to log this cache you you must answer this question.
What does it say in quotation marks at the bottom of the mural?
You can also take a virtual tour of the museum but you won't find the
