Located in the heart of the Warren Village, this building was originally the establishment of “Rumph’s Radio and Repair”
Mr. Rumph built this building in the 1940’s, only one lot north from his birthplace site. He later built his new home one lot east of the business.
He sold radios and repaired them. Later he sold Motorola televisions and radio’s and continued the repairs until the 1970’s. I remember buying “tubes” for our televisions and radios here.
In the late 1970’s the current owners purchased the building. They altered the inside to display their form of the entertainment business.
A busy place, you can often see people coming and going with parcels in hand.
As they deal in one of my favorite commodities, you can frequently see my trusty Buick parked here in the parking lot.
