WHERE: We will meet up at the first shelter you come to as you enter the park (GC4952B). Plenty of parking available near the shelter. If the shelter is occupied we will simply meet as close as we can without disturbing anyone. Rain or shine I will be there. If you’re bicycling to the event remember to bring your bike lock. If you’re kayaking to the event...well that’s just crazy and I love it.
WHAT: Cache In Trash Out! Trash bags, hand sanitizer, hand wipes and drinking water will be provided. I don’t have much in the way of equipment so if you could bring gloves, grabbers/pokey stick (if you have one) and boots are the preferred footwear but not necessary. Vests will be provided by the City of Davenport Parks and Recreation Department. We will be cleaning up both the park and the riverside areas. I will have a basic first aid kit on hand in case of emergency but please be safe!
WHEN: Wednesday April 25th 2018 11:00am-12:30pm (you do not need to stay the entire time) I’m scheduling this over the noon hour so folks could stop down on their lunch break or while running errands. Some people work weekends or have other plans so you’ll still be able to get your souvenir!!!
