Geocache Description:

Ever had a busy caching day? Ever had a busy well-rounded caching day? Here's your chance to tell us about it! The Cache is at the posted location, but in order to log it, you must fulfill the additional logging requirement.

About the location:
Chattanooga Riverwalk

The Tennessee Riverpark had its early beginnings with a group of citizens called the Moccasin Bend Task Force back in 1982. Though it started with just a vision of a few, it has blossomed into a glorious realty for millions of Chattanooga area citizens and visitors from around the world.

You can run, jog, power walk, or simply stroll along at an easy pace, taking in all of the great sites and sounds of nature and our growing river community. You can also roller blade, people watch, watch the Blue Herons along the river, boat watch, grill your favorite meats or veggies and picnic in the park.

Park rules prohibit pets (except in designated areas), alcoholic beverages and other intoxicants, skateboards, swimming, reckless bicycling, camping, motorized vehicles on trails (except wheelchairs), entrance to closed areas, plant removal or destruction, and vending or solicitation without permit. This portion of the park is not open after dark.

The Challenge:

In order to log a find, you must fulfill the Additional Logging Requirement of having

Found SIX of the THIRTEEN Different Cache Types in One Day

To log this cache, you will need to find all six (you pick which six of the thirteen) in the same day. Log each find on a public bookmark, along with this cache. When you have completed the requirements, post a note on this cache page. Once you have done that, you are free to find this cache. Pictures of you with your finds will earn you bonus points... just don't give away cache locations in your pics!

The actual cache difficulty is about 2.0 and is located in a nice, private spot where you can conduct your search. Nature is trying to reclaim this space after years of industrial use, so tread lightly!

The container is a small and camoed to fit into the surroundings, hidden in a typical way. Please return the cache exactly as you found it.

The Rules:
  • This Unknown (Mystery) cache does NOT count toward the six Cache Types needed for the Challenge.
  • There are no date restrictions for this Challenge. Previous finds DO count, so you may already qualify.
  • All cache types past, present, and future ARE allowed for this Challenge: Traditional, Multi-cache, Virtual, Letterbox Hybrid, Unknown (Mystery), Webcam, Wherigo, Earthcache, Event, CITO, Mega-Event, Maze Adventure Exhibit, and Locationless (Reverse)
  • All six finds must be located in the state of Tennessee.
  • Bonus points for finding a benchmark on the same day, but benchmarks do NOT count toward your six.
  • If you haven't yet qualified, feel free to visit the cache, pick up or drop off trackables, and post a note, but in order to log a find, you must visit the cache and sign the log AFTER you have fulfilled the requirements.

This Challenge is open to everyone. Feel free to contact me to make wheelchair accessible arrangements.
