catcher24: I checked on the cache today, since the last cacher was unable to find it and I know it isn't a difficult cache. As I feared, it has been taken again. I am not going to replace this cache again. I have now lost two good ammo cans, other cachers' travel bugs, and all of the trade items I put in the caches. Perhaps I will try another TB hotel in a more secluded location. I liked this spot because it was easy off/easy on for I86, but losing it twice is enough. I offer my sincere apologies to anyone who had a TB in this cache when it disappeared.

Geocache Description:

Easy to reach cache is a wonderful spot to give your travel bug a rest, or to pick one up to move along. At Strunk Road exit (Exit 11) on I86. Easy off, easy on. Can be done by most individuals in 5 minutes or so.NOTE: Cache is not on the ground. Please replace it exactly where you find it!

This cache makes an easy, quick stop to drop off or pick up a travel bug. This TB Bed and Breakfast is just the ticket for those bugs needing a break, or to pick up a bug that is rested and ready to go again. You can access the cache via Strunk Road off of NYS Rt. 430, or by exiting at the Strunk Road Exit (Exit 11) off of I86. There is a small turn-off parking area just north of the underpasses on the east side of Strunk Road. You can park here, and the cache is within 100 feet. NOTE: The turn-off area is not always plowed in the winter. The cache is an ammo can. CAUTION! There is considerable ground cover, and if you are north of the tree line, be careful for the large hole that I fell in! Original contents: log book; geocaching pencil; sleeve of three new Top-Flite XL2000 golf balls; stuffed turtle; glow-in-the-dark high bounce ball; deck of $100 bill cards; dinosaur egg; Silly Putty egg; wooden train whistle; two WW II toy gliders.
