Another fun snowshoe cache....in the winter. This is an easy hike on a maintained road during the fair weather months. Since the road/trail is not maintained in the winter, we recommend snowshoes or skis.
There are several caches in the area. All can be found in less than 2 miles round trip.
Park at the trailhead for the Peshastin Mill Trail. The parking area at the trail head is not maintained in the winter so if you have low clearance, you may want to park further away (several area business lots nearby). We had no trouble in our 4WD SUV.
The cache itself is hidden off of the main trail about 100 feet. Cache is a cammo taped small peanut butter jar.
The trail is open during daylight hours only.
