Introducción - Justificacion - Descripción
Os presento un nuevo caché, no es uno más, es especial, un caché donde poder realizar intercambios de TB's i GC's, un “HOTEL” de cachés. Creo que no hay ninguno en la zona, tuve uno “inaugurado” en 2014 –GC5CNKM- (Sigalero Hotel) que después de estar activo durante 4 años, y haber registrado más de 400 visitas y recibido 36 favoritos, en julio de 2018 tuve que archivarlo por las molestias que los geobuscadores que acudían en su búsqueda ocasionában, sobretodo por la noche, a los vecinos del lugar.
Ahora, y con las mismas características que aquel se abre un nuevo hotel, en un lugar no demasiado lejos del primero, tan solo 3-4 km, un lugar mucho menos concurrido que el anterior pero no solitario y también de fácil acceso.
El nombre
Mater Dei-Hotel, en honor del edificio que se encuentra más cercano al caché, el Seminario Diocesano Mater Dei, al pie del paraje del ermitorio dela Magdalena, enclavado en el Parque Natural del Desert de les Palmes, entre la ciudad de Castellón y las playas de Benicasim.
Un Seminario, una casa de formación para jóvenes y adultos, que de manera voluntaria inician un itinerario de formación que los ha de conducir al ministerio sacerdotal. Un complejo inaugurado y bendecido el 7 de mayo de 1966 y que, hace 25 años y por causa de la “sequia vocacional” tuvo que abrir sus puertas a nuevas posibilidades,con la creación de un centro educativo concertado y la posibilidad de realizar en sus completas instalaciones, conferencias, cursillos, jornadas…, siendo en la actualidad considerado un conjunto destinado a la formación que dispone de áreas destinadas a residencia, espacios de estudio, de docencia e investigación, y que dispone además de una iglesia, varias capillas un convento y zonas de servicio.
El lugar
El lugar es de fácil acceso ya sea a pie, bicicleta, motocicleta o automobil durante todo el año. Ideal para visitarlo en família. Seguro que a los niños les encanta.
El Caché
El “hotel” es una caja de poliuretano de gran tamaño (700mx500 mmx 22mm) muy fácil por tanto de localizar y a la vez muy expuesta a la vista de curiosos. Tened por tanto mucho cuidado con los muggles. Para acceder a su contenido no olvidaros de consultar la pista, ES BÁSICO.

Siendo “A” el año en que David Ulmer crea Geocaching escondiendo en los alrederores de la ciudad de Portlant el primer caché, “B” el número de medallas que España obtuvo en las Olimpiadas de Barcelona y “C” el número de letras que tiene el nombre del propio hotel.
Observaciones / Ruegos
1.- En el Mater Dei- Hotel siempre tienen que quedar por lo menos (2) dos objetos rastreables, para que cada geobuscador que lo visite pueda obtener códigos nuevos para su colección. Si acudes y no llevas tracables para intercambio y en el hotel solo hay 2, no debes coger ninguno puesto que quitas la oportunidad a otro geobuscador de encontrarlos. Siempre puedes decir que los has visto. Si por el contrario hay más de 2 depositados o tu dejas alguno, entonces puedes efectuar intercambio o retirar alguno. Si somos escrupulosos con esta forma de actuar, nos beneficiamos todos y el hotel tendrá sentido.
2.- En la caja hay en el momento de la activación (6) TB's, un contenedor con un libro de registro (logbook) para que puedas dejar tus comentarios, bolígrafo para anotaciones y algún objeto de intercambio no tracable, para aquellos que visitándolo quieran llevarse algún recuerdo. Piensa que debes dejar tu también algun objeto para que siempre haya objetos en el contenedor. Escribe como mínimo la fecha, la hora, tu apodo o nombre de equipo y por supuesto el nombre del objeto y/o TB/GC que dejas o coges. Funciona también como “caché tradicional”.
3.- Existe también una hoja de anotaciones de códigos de los TB's y GC's que se encuentran “descansando” en el hotel, con la fecha de depósito (entrada) y de recogida (salida). Tanto si te llevas alguno como aquellos que tu deposites, efectúa la correspondiente anotación. Esta hoja de anotaciones es independiente del logbook del propio caché.
4.- Si decides recoger algún TB/GC de los depositados en el hotel, acuérdate de depositarlo en otro caché antes de 14 dias, para que pueda seguir su camino y cumplir su misión, ya sea aquella general de viaje o específica. Por supuesto no olvides registrarlo. No tiene sentido recogerlo del “descanso” del hotel para que “siga descansando” en casa o en el fondo de alguna mochila o bolsa.
5.- El Mater-Dei Hotel se puede visitar tantas veces como quieras para coger o depositar algún TB/GC o simplemente por curiosidad para ver que rastreables hay en un momento determinado. Acuerdate cada vez que lo visites de dejar constancia del mismo con un “attend”
6.- Nunca traigas a gente desconocida a este lugar. El hotel es para los verdaderos entusiastas del geocaching, así evitarás el posible robo o rotura de la caja. Avísame de cualquier daño en la caja o en su contenido.
7.- Intentemos entre todos hacer de este tesoro una “parada” confortable y segura para todos nuestros objetos viajeros. Evitemos en lo posible la desaparición de los TB's/GC's que tantos disgustos y desilusiones nos causan.

Name

Observations / Requests

Whether you take any or those that you deposit, make the corresponding entry. This annotation sheet is independent of the logbook of the cache itself.
4.- If you decide to pick up any TB / GC from those deposited in the hotel, remember to deposit it in another cache before 14 days, so that you can continue on your way and fulfill your mission, be that travel or specific general. Of course do not forget to register it. It does not make sense to pick it up from the “rest” of the hotel so that it “keeps resting” at home or at the bottom of a backpack or bag.
5.- The Mater-Dei Hotel can be visited as many times as you want to take or deposit a TB / GC or simply out of curiosity to see how traceable there is at a given time. Remember every time you visit to record it with an "attend"
6.- Never bring unknown people to this place. The hotel is for true geocaching enthusiasts, so you will avoid possible theft or breakage of the box. Notify me of any damage to the box or its contents.
7.- Let's try to make this treasure a comfortable and safe “stop” for all our traveling objects. Let us avoid as far as possible the disappearance of the TB's / GC's that so many dislikes and disappointments cause us.
