Geocache Description:

A Memorial for a killed KFOR-Soldier near the Adminstrative Borderline in Kosovo.

This cache is located in the North-East of Kosovo near the inoffical Border Crossing Point Sekirača. Start your trip in Pristina and take the road to Pudojevo (M-25). In Shakovice turn right and take the road to Orlane (R125). You will pass the Lake Batlava. It is nice recreation-area where you can go swimming in summertime. After the village of Orlane you must drive around 6 km. Then you will arrive a junction in front of the village Brvenik there you must turn left and drive 4 km to the village Medrgovac. Behind the village Medrgovac you must drive 5,5 km to the inoffical Border Crossing Point Sekirača. The cache is located only some meters before the Administrative Borderline/ABL (between KOSOVO and SERBIA) on the right side of the road. You must not cross the ABL. In wintertime you should use a 4x4-vehicle.
There you will find a Memorial for a killed Slovakian KFOR-Soldier in May 2002. Sergant Miroslav HAJDUCH was wounded in a traffic incident with a BMP-1 tank. Later he died of his serious wounds.
Attention:
  1. The cache is not direct located on the memorial! Look at the hint or spoiler.
  2. If you are a KFOR-Soldier, it is forbidden to cross the borderline!
