Your basic 'Out in the desert cache'. Requires a little motivation and good shoes to get there. But hey, if a twelve year old girl can place it, surely you can find it. Someone took the first cache so we moved it slightly from its original spot in an effort to make it less likely to be stumbled upon.
I rated this a little higher than you might otherwise; not because it is a difficult hike or find , but because the overall trip to get there is a bit of a challenge.
This will require that you have either a 4x4 or quad, or a least a good pickup/SUV and then hike the last serveral hundred yards.
The canyon that the cache overlooks will take you to the south east corner of Sagauro Lake. If you choose to hike - a garanteed awesome hike - to the lake, it's about a tough three hour 2.8 mile round trip from the cache placement. Take plenty of water and bring those shoes mention earlier.
This is our first cache we placed and there will be more. Be warned, we don't go for the wimpy - let's drive down to the corner store and get a Geocache on the way - type of locations.

I thought I would add these coordinates to make finding the right place to turn off the highway a little easier. This turn off will also get you to the two Willow Springs Geocaches. Turn left at N33'30.055 - W111'27.730. To drive through this gate, you will have to get the permit from the forestry service in Mesa, but you're free to hike in any-ol-time.
