Travelling through Colombia and Ecuador I found many of the few caches in these countries missing or destroyed. In order to create a safe cache for trackables I placed this one on the edge of this private camp ground at the Lagoon Yahuarcocha. The German owners of this place are very nice and hospitable and will look after this cache.
It is accessible from the roadside. Look in the "window" left of the gate. Please don't dig or remove things in case the cache should not be readily accessible. Ask Patricia, Hans or "Ché" (Oscar), they should know. Wi-Fi available on request!
This is not intended to be a promotional cache, but placing a cache in the open did not seem to be a good idea seeing all the lost caches in Ecuador... I hope this cache will last long and can provide a safe trading place for (small) trackables!
If you retrieve trackables from this cache allow some time for the previous person to log them "placed" here (as travellers might not have the chance to log them immediately - ask before "grabbing" them)
