The 7 Souvenirs of August 2014!
This August 2014 you will have the opportunity to collect up to seven (7) new souvenirs by simply attending some events and finding specific geocache types all during the month of August 2014. Knowing that several cacher's on the island have nearly found all the caches on the island and that they don't have many options to complete this challenge without flying to another island or maybe even the mainland, I decided to do my part to help us/them all out. This Puzzle/Mystery cache will meet one of the requirements as listed below. (Click to enlarge the picture to see the souvenir descriptions)
By finding this Puzzle/Mystery cache or logging a "Found It" on any other Puzzle/Mystery cache during the month of August 2014, you will earn the "Puzzler" souvenir. The other souvenirs to be earned are listed above.
Now for the Puzzle and Cache:
Once at the posted coordinates you should be under a "Kamani" tree and notice a plaque under it. Once you find the plaque for this "Medicinal Tree" in order to locate the final cache you will need to project a waypoint from this location to the caches final location. This is a very simple calculation and can be done from this point. Here are your simple directions: go 30 feet at a 122 degree magnetic azimuth. Once there you are at the caches final location. Good luck and please use STEALTH at the final location and be sure to hide it to keep it from being muggled. Happy Caching!
