How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The clean-up will be from 9:30am-11:30am.

As part of CITO week, this will be a clean-up along the mangroves below the I-75 bridge on the north side of Charlotte Harbor. Please bring your own kayak or canoe. We will launch at the coordinates located at the end of Peace River Drive. Residents are aware of our project and where we will be parking. This project is in coordination with "Keep Charlotte Beautiful".

Keep Charlotte Beautiful is a proud affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s largest volunteer-based community action and education organization. They are proud to be a part of a network of more than 1,200 affiliates and participating organizations engaging individuals to take greater responsibility for improving our community’s environment.

For our CITO - gloves, bags or buckets and grabbers will be provided. Please bring your own water, sun screen and wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
