My love for the Snowy Mountains began in 2009 when I had the opportunity to go away on school camp to Jindabyne. I spent 2 days learning to snowboard at Perisher and fell in love with the snow and this beautiful town so 4 years later I scored a job working at Thredbo and lived in Jindabyne in the Winter of 2013 and the whole experience changed me. And so, commemorate this amazing moment in my life I placed a geocache here while camping over the 2013/14 New Years.

This geocache is only accessed by boats/kyaks or swimming. It is located on the South Eastern side of the Island, you may want to dock near the boulder.
It is a 1 litre Sistema container with a notepad, pencil and a pen. It also contains a Thredbo Flare Run light from when I worked my first season there. Congrats to Tankengine for first find! :)
