The World Wide Flash Mob Caching Event


About WWFM
WWFM – World Wide Flash Mobs – A fun and friendly way to promote geocaching around the world.
Thousands of geocachers at dozens of coordinated events spanning the globe, gathering at the same time. Please search on internet for more info regarding WWFM

This is the 1st time of a WWFM in Hong Kong, the event will last 15minutes only

For the attendee

Please bring and introduce others (newbies) to the hobby.

On the day of your Event:
    Get there early
    Act like a muggle before the event starts (don't congregate with other geocachers)
    Enjoy the fun spirit of the WWFM
    At the end of 15 minutes, leave without a trace
    Plan to meet up with other geocachers later to spend a fun day caching!

Submit your "attended" log within 2 weeks of the event

The time
9 Jun 2012 (Sat) - 10:00-10:15am (Hong Kong time)
(Official time is 10:00-10:15am San Diego time, which equal to 01:00-01:15am on 10 Jun 2012 , for me is not a problem, but not fun for most.)

The place
An ugliest icon of Hong Kong ? The goverment call it Golden Bauhinia, nothing else, but tons of Chinese tourists (Muggles!!!) guaranteed.

The Plan

The flash mob part requirement may change from time to time, please check the latest version on 8 Jun

the program to be update as following,

Flash Mob section
before 10:00 - don't know each others
10:00 - Start to "freeze" in front the camera within 20 seconds, one by one. Pls keep a pose which easy to last(freeze) for 3 minis.

Preferred photo direction
10:03 - You should hear a alarm from mobile phone, please de-freeze and disappear in normal speed to differ directions.


Normal gathering after flash mob
Please reunite around cheekybeer's GC2YR48 after "disappeared"
for chatting, logging, discussing, exchange trackables, planning next/following activites after this event - anything regarding geocaching.
