Microcache located in small, pretty park in center of New City. Easy access. Park across street in shopping center at corner of Congers Road and Main Street.
This is a nice, scenic park dedicated to the memory of Kevin, a young volunteer fireman who made the ultimate sacrifice responding to a house fire in September 1975. (Please remember a friend by pausing to reflect for a moment by the monument). This microcache has a small log to sign, a pencil, a few Japanese coins from a recent business trip and a wooden golf tee to commemorate placing it during the final round of the 2004 US Open at Shinnecock Hills. There is not much room for much else. Enjoy the park.
