This Geo-cache is a tribute to our irreplaceable and devoted mom, mother-in-law, Nannie, and wife, Lois, who lost her battle with cancer in January of 2011. Lois lived 21 more years after she was first diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 44. Her family loves and misses her very much. This cache was placed here on Mother’s Day of 2011. It is located in a place passed many times by Lois and her family as they walked their dog together years ago. Lois was a traveler. She and her husband would travel all over the country while they were together.
