Geocache Description:

Steventon, once a peaceful little south Oxfordshire village until the coming of the railways when Brunel’s Great Western line from London Paddington to Temple Meads Bristol sliced it in two. The south side of the village is separated roadwise from civilisation by the railway track and the two barriered level crossings.

An ancient raised walkway called The Causeway, is the main feature of this little stroll though the village to the cache at the end. It passes one great pub, The North Star, which if open, is well worth visiting. This is the pub, that on the eve of the new year 2003, when the owner, but not landlord, was refused a drink, and in a moment of pique, left and returned with a JCB, to demolish the eastern corner of the building. The interior is most unusual. Care must be taken when in the vicinity of the railway line and children and dogs must be kept under firm control.

The Cache is a small micro but will be updated into something larger. It contains a 44 place micro log but no pencil (please bring your own) and various foreign coins.

You need to collate the following numbers during your stroll to form the co-ords of the Cache.

The published Co-ords are for the first location from where you should commence the walk.
