From Russell School, head towards car ferry, and travel East along the road towards Rawhiti. This is a good Cache to stop off on the way to the Russell Forest Caches by Robertot. Please close the gate after you.
During the winter it will be a lot harder to find as there will be lots of Russell School children playing soccer on Saturdays, and practices during the week. If you are in to cross country there is a nice course that the Russell School pupils use, please ask permission first. There are two scoring structures, both painted blue, the biggest one is very historical and used to be the scoreboard at Okara Park in Whangarei. Bring your golf clubs to practice teeing off the hill and getting out of bunkers. Our GPS is old so use the clue.
