As the name implies,this geocache is intended for rock climbers only. Do not attempt to retrieve this one unless you have the equipment,knowledge and skill required to climb safely The cache is located at Palisades Park,on the route named- Elephant Crack(5.6). Although the route is a relatively easy climb,it is capped by a huge overhanging roof,so don’t assume you can just rappell down to the cache. This would leave you hanging in mid-air about twenty feet away. You will be looking for a waterproof match container that only contains a logsheet, so don’t forget the pen! Also,don’t forget to obtain a permit for climbing and rappelling –available at the park office for 2 $ per person. Congratulations to DirtyDave and CaverScott for FTF.
