Nice walk in the Long Lake rec area.
This cache was hidden during the height of summer so it should be easier to find at other times of the year. There is a bit of light off-trail bushwhacking right at the end. Container is a small ammo box. Wisconsin State Park sticker (or day pass) is required for the easiest hike. Park at coordinates N43 39.665 W88 09.852. Trail head at coordinates N43 39.440 W88 10.074
You may be able to park at the trail head in-season...if you happen to catch the DNR Rangers in a good mood. They have been known to write citations for minor infractions. Out-of-season, the gate to that loop is closed so you will have to leave your vehicle at the parking coordinates above.
