Geocache Description:

A four stage multi visiting six statues of Nailsea celebrities, between Coates House and Millennium Park.

Statue 1: Operation Pied Piper

This statue of a man and a girl outside Coates House commemorating Operation Pied Piper- the evacuation of children to the countryside during World War II. You don't need to enter to get the answers as the statue can be seen from the pavement.

Statue 2: Adge Cutler

This bronze statue depicts possibly Nailsea's most famous celebrity, Adge Cutler. He was the frontman of West Country band The Wurzels, who grew up in Nailsea. Following his early death at age 42, he is buried at Christ Church.

Statue 3: The Glassblower

A striking copper statue depicting a worker blowing glass, at the site of the former glassworks where the supermarket in front of you now stands.
The statue was unveiled in February 20CD

Three flat, rusted iron statues stand next to each other, each depicting three Nailsea celebrities: Adge Cutler (who you've already seen), Hannah More, and Redvers Coate.

Redvers Coate founded his cider company in 1EFG and retired in 19H9.
