We came to Richford today to replace MVRT X which had gone missing. We brought 3 complete caches and picked the one that best fit that location. But that left us with two caches ready to be placed. So we put one here hoping to generate more interest in this end of the rail trail. We wanted to keep with the "End of the Line" numbering scheme and saw that there is room for one more between here and "MVRT X minus 1", hence the name.
Welcome to the Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail (MVRT). This is a 26.2 mile trail that runs from St.Albans, VT to Richford, VT. The trail is great for walking, jogging/running, bicycling, skiing, and snowshoeing. No night caching on this trail. CAUTION: Snowmobiles are allowed on this trail during the Winter. Be very careful on this trail. You can also refer to the Rail Trails website.
