AngelMay3: In the recent flooding, the boardwalk was destroyed. As such, this cache is gone and half of the trail is closed. We'll look at replacing this cache after the boardwalk is rebuilt and the trail is fully open. At this point we don't have an estimated timeline.

Geocache Description:

Sixth in a series of caches along the Big Creek Nature Trail at Laura S. Walker State Park.

This cache is only available during daylight hours. Please do not attempt this cache after dark!

A parking permit is required. This can be purchased at the main entrance (see additional waypoints). Parking is at the first cache in the series. I have also included the parking coordinates in the additional waypoints.

The Big Creek Nature Trail is a 1.3 mile loop. Completion of this series will require you to walk (or ride your bicycle) the whole length of the trail.

For this cache, you are looking for a Lock-n-Lock that has been camouglaged to match its surroundings.

This cache is located along the boardwalk portion of the trail.

Don't forget to get the Laura S. Walker State Park Cache while on the trail :-)
