This is a great spot for watching the sunset and is a favourite of mine for photography.
YOU WILL NEED A COPY OF PHOTOS 1 AND 2.
A detailed map will also help, as will the encrypted clue to guide your approach to WP1.
Locating the cache at the 1st set of co-ordinates, less than 3m from the track, will put you on “the right track” at the 2WD car park. Collect the next co-ordinates AND the answer to "C" before continuing.
The journey to the next co-ordinates is an easy 10 minute walk or a rocky 4W drive. From this point you will need to answer the following:
Stand on Rocking Rock (photo 1) to find which end rocks the most?
East: A = 41.000
North-west: A = 41.051
West: A = 40.958
South-west: A = 42.000
Approximate distance from Trig Point to “Zig-Zag” rock? (photo 2)
21m: B = 1245
58m: B = 1227
77m: B = 1293
47m: B = 1295
Distance from the Trig Point to the Moon?
(don’t even bother researching this one on the web, it will only confuse….)
3844000km: C = 83049
4280m: C = 83030
128mm: C = 82971
38440km: C = 82978
Trig Point Number = D
D – (A x 2000) – B = XXX
D – C = YYY
Cache is at S36 47.XXX E145 50.YYY
This is a rock-art cache. (see photo for original cache contents) Please swap only items with this theme.
If your search area looks suspiciously devoid of hiding places you may need to revisit rockin' rock.
