Pine Tree Predicament Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

RED 5: There are people out there who think it's right to alter and/or move a cache to suit themselves or their friends. I've had to reset this cache multiple times, but it's just not worth the aggravation anymore.

At least most of the people who found this cache enjoyed it for what it was and tried to not spoil it for the next finder. I thank them for that.

Any "found it" logs posted after today will be deleted.

Geocache Description:

A micro cache hidden in the West Hills Nature Preserve section of West Hills Park. Parking and the trailhead can be found on Sweet Hollow Rd. less than 200' from the cache.

Has this ever happened to you? You're walking through the woods on a cache hunt and you enter an area of pine forest, when suddenly you lose satellites. You circle around holding your GPSr up to the sky in a vain attempt a regaining the signal when finally, you see one bar, two bars, "Yes!" you shout, foolishly thinking everything's ok. Except, now the arrow is pointing in the complete opposite direction than you were originally walking.

Well, it's happened to me. For some reason my Garmin just doesn't like pine trees.

I placed this cache to see how your GPSr does under those conditions. The coordinates should take you right to the cache but I can't guarantee it. If not, it'll get you close enough. Hopefully. Anyway, it's not a difficult hide. In fact, I'll tell you exactly where it is. It's hidden at the base of a pine tree. You just have to figure out which one.
