Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to the memory of our grandmother, Mary Queen, affectionately known as Queenie.

You are looking for a med. size container that is camo'ed. The name of the cache should be a dead giveaway.

We have started this cache with a couple of TB's, log book and pen, plus a prize for FTF. There is room for some small swag.

Permission granted by property owner for placement.

Please seek this cache during the daytime only as it is private property.

Happy Caching!!

Queenie was a very unique woman who made all of her children and grandchildren think that they were her favorite. She had an amazing sense of humor and we know that she would get a good laugh at the theme of this cache. She was the oldest of 11 children and had 9 of her own, 26 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Hence the name of the cache.

Original Nursery Rhyme
There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She had so many children she didn't know what to do. She gave them some broth without any bread. Then whipped them all soundly and put them to bed.

Adapted Nursery Rhyme by Jordon Riak
(more suited to Queenie)
There was an old woman who lived in a shoe. She was a kindhearted mom, who knew exactly what to do.

She raised all her children with patience and love. Never once did she give them a spank, shake or shove.

Her children all learned to be gentle towards others. And good parents too when they became fathers and mothers.

From their days in the shoe they learned this about living. Kindness, not force, is the gift that keeps giving.

We were very blessed to have such a woman in our life!

Congrats to ManhandSister2 on FTF!
