Geocache Description:


Greetings 007, we have some news for you that need your immediate attention. I am reporting from an underwater base at N 49 32.561 W 054 22.722, a few miles south of Change Islands off the northeast coast of Newfoundland.

One of our agents was vacationing in Change Islands and made this discovery. We believe that we have located the burial plot of your father, also a member of the British SIS in the early 1900’s until he was reported missing by our post in St. John’s, Newfoundland. He was going by an alias that ironically is just 1 letter shy of your name, Mr. Bond.

The visiting agent took the published coordinates that will bring you close to your father’s plot (see Picture 1 for a clue). You must visit his plot and record the year he died and divide it by 1000 and add these to the North coordinates of my underwater base. To be sure you aren’t being followed; you will also need to record the year the church was constructed, divide it by 1000 and add it to the West coordinates to my base.

After you have had time to pay your respects it is imperative that your immediately leave this area and follow these coordinates to a cache placed by the visiting agent in your father’s honour. But be warned Mr. Bond, this area has recently been developed by what we believe is to be a secret terrorist group. You will notice their barracks (Picture 2) and a very advanced infra-red heat detector (Picture 3). BE CAREFUL Mr. Bond! The secret of yourself and your father will be unveiled if you are captured.

You will find this cache covered in rocks with a familiar symbol on the cover that only you will know. Be mindful 007 that the extraction point can only be accessed certain times throughout the day, and NOT at night. You will find this link helpful to best rendezvous with the extraction vessel.

I have all faith in you Mr. Bond. Though this task should be easy compared to some I have sent you on, be aware of the dangers involved.
