We were in town caching on older data so we went looking for A simpler Cache (GC1MRJ6). We replaced it not knowing it had been archived a week earlier, and it seemed a shame to have replaced it for nothing so I decided to make a new placement. From here you can learn about the UMTRA project (removal and disposal of tailings from the uranium mill that was once nearby) or hike to the nearby Courthouse Wash rock art panel which I highly recommend! It's a place that encompasses many of my interests in the area: The railroad, the river, the rock art, and the redrock. Cache should be in one of the the upper corners of the kiosk, specifically the "west" side. May want to keep an eye to the ground nearby as it is known to end up there often. If it is found on the ground would you PLEASE put it back up? A hearty congrats to danandcarol for the FTF!
