Do you have what it takes?!!... Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Team Smoke: It’s time to archive this cache. It’s been a long run, but the ammo can is long gone and we live 10,000 miles away now.
Maybe we will return some day and restore the cache to its former glory. Who knows…

Aloha!

Geocache Description:

Do you think you have what it takes to climb over 1100 railroad ties up the steep side of a crater? I've hidden the cache at the bottom of Koko Head Crater trail so that everyone has a chance to find it. Afterwards, if you are up to the challenge, go for the top! You can't beat the view from up there. SAFETY NOTES: ~PAY ATTENTION~ There are no special skills required to complete this hike, but it is EXTREMELY taxing on the body if you are not in decent shape. About half way up the trail, you will come to an old railroad trestle. If you do not want to cross over it, there is a path just to the right of it. Bring enough water to last you going up and back down the hill, at least 2 quarts per person. Trust me, you will drink all of your water! Lastly, PLEASE pay attention to your children here. I wouldn't want anyone to fall off of one of the many cliffs in the area. THIS CACHE DOES NOT HAVE A LOG BOOK.
