This cache is located in a park along the Missouri River in St. Charles, MO. Frontier Park is located near the city’s historic Main Street district and the Katy Trail.
Lewis and Clark camped very near the current site of this park and departed from St. Charles on May 21, 1804 on their westward exploration of the Louisanna Purchase.
The park offers a very scenic overlook of the river and also the original St. Charles railroad station and several railroad cars. Enjoy the park and Historic St. Charles during your cache hunt.
Paved walkways are available except for the last few feet to the cache.
The cache has been changed to a film cannister as of 2/25/05 at the same location as the previous cache.
