A 'chirp' cache in Croyde, just outside of the Croyde sand dunes SSI and close to the beach.
This is the fourth in the 'Chester's Chest' series. Chester absolutely loves to visit the beach close to this cache (outside of summer months, when dogs are banned), and the little Bodmin Bullies like to play in the park.
This is a chirp cache, so your GPS or smart phone must be chirp enabled to find this cache (please also ensure that 'chirp searching' is set to 'on' in the setup menu).
You should ensure your unit has the most recent available firmware.
THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE PUBLISHED LOCATION. When you arrive at the co-ordinates, your GPS or smart phone will 'hear' the chirp, and provide you with the information you need to compete your search.
At the final location, you will be searching for a small plastic tub. There is a £1 coin prize for FTF.
There is no need to leave the footpath, and please do not be tempted to do so as the dunes are a fragile environment. Dogs are permitted on the nearby beach between the months of October and April. Wheelchair users should be able to reach GZ, but may require help in retrieving the cache.
There is an infestation of muggles in this area, generally between July and September. Please be careful not to draw too much attention to yourself when retrieving or replacing the cache.
