"By golly a Gully" Traditional Geocache

A fairly simple cache in a small park in Surrey. Several ways to enter the Gully so it could be a short hike or a long one. Cache is a clear 5.7 litre Rubbermaid container.
This is our first cache to hide so we kept it fairly simple. When we first placed this cache in 2001 in the early days of geocaching this small green space was not developed but had several trails and streams running through it. We liked to walk our dog here because he could go off leash and loved to play in the pools of water in the stream. I suspect now that it has been upgraded dogs should be kept on leash. In December 2005 we moved the cache about 30 meters SOUTH EAST of the original location as the Old location was becoming quite exposed. Coordinates and clue were updated as well. With the new trails that have been added the cache is quite close to the trails. We've left the clue in place but probably will find by coordinates now. Please re-hide carefully as there is a lot of traffic around here now.
