Good parking at the sweeping curve of the road. Arrived here late in the afternoon and it was alive with sparrows, Red-Winged Blackbirds, Red-Tailed Hawk, but as I walked toward the cache placement area I scared up a small flock of what I think were Green Herons who cried raucously at being disturbed from their feeding. It is a bit early for them to be back in Oregon but no other bird fits what I saw so I’m going out on a limb!
Be sure and rehide the cache well out of sight!
