TMP Quest 2 (The First Ritual) Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

TeamMagicParrot: The spot for this cache was very predictable and I'm amazed it wasn't muggled earlier now that I look back on it. Glad it got so many finds and made for a great part of the TMP Quest. Since it isn't an official part of the quest any longer, and that the final can now be found without the rest of the TMP Quest caches, this one's going to be archived for other possible caches in the area. Happy New Year

Geocache Description:

The second installment of the TMP Quest!
This cache is a quick park and grab, you shouldn't have to park for more than a minute or two if you have the correct coords, and park on the side of the road. TMP Quest 2 is also wheelchair accessible. Take some time to admire the view of the water down the road, near the cache Red Bridge!

The TMP Quest has begun! This quest will be many caches, that will be placed over a period of time. In short, this cache series is somewhat similar to buzzy_cacher's Bond...James Bond Multi (my favorite cache thus far), and the It's A Small World series, started by a group of users, and added onto by other users (myself included). Also, if you liked Supply Field cache, you will enjoy this one even more, although it is more challenging.

This particular cache is a small tribute to Birdville #1 Eagle.

Congrats to spydercache22 on their FTF, their First Ever! I wish you luck on the rest of the TMP Quest!

This series leads up to one cache that will be a special final. You can do the caches in whatever order you choose, (however I will be placing them in order, over time), and the final will be placed last. To attempt the final, a puzzle cache, you must have done all the other TMP Quest caches in the past. This will be a fun and interesting series! Good luck!

ABOUT THIS CACHE:
It is a small pill container, with an additional film-canister-like container inside that contains the log. To put back, you put the log inside the clear film canister, and place the canister with the log inside UPSIDE DOWN in the pill bottle (This will prevent the log from getting wet)
You MUST place the pill bottle inside the crevice with the top of the pill bottle (wider side) facing inside the rock, so it is easier to retrieve. If you don't, you need to take it back out (which will be much harder) with some twigs, because it can easily get stuck inside the crevice if you put it in the wrong way. If you have ever done Birdville #1, Eagle, then you know the drill. Good luck!

STORY: After Burder discovered the original map and legend, he went to where he believed the first area where the extra-terrestrials had known of, or had been to. It was late in the evening, and Burder watched the sun set while on the bridge overlooking the water. Burder had take-out pizza in a nearby park, and realized it was getting late. Making a quick search to see if anyone was there, it appeared that the area was normal.

Ready to head back home, Burder heard a sound. Heading back to the bridge, about 50 yards out, a strange rumbling
was felt. Burder panicked, and saw that a bright green light was in the water! The rumbling stopped, and the light grew louder. Out of the water shot up a strange light, almost to the clouds, similar to the Northern Lights in Alaska that Burder had seen last year. The lights swayed peacefully before slowly dimming after minute. All of a sudden, a small voice said "Seek the next". Burder had no idea what that meant, so he quickly got in his car and went home. However, when he got home, Burder realized something amazing. The material that had the map, story, and clues had changed color, and additional information to other areas had been given, while it had been in his pocket the whole time. Burder prepared himself for finding the next stage, and couldn't sleep that night thinking
about what it all could mean. HAPPY CACHING!
