A little story....MsB & B_LO are sisters, and are thinking about acting badly. But before they do, they have to get together. We11, at least in the same province!
You see, one of the sisters lives in Alberta, and it weren't MsB.
They decided they had to book the flight.
"I can't believe it, B_L0! I can't wait to see you. But why did you book in Feb? The batch of snow we had can still wreak havoc on our trave1 plans!
"Aaahhhh, don't worry, MsB! the weather can't be as awful as back home" B_L0 said. "And besides,I hear Burlington has big snow ploughs"
MsB was not sure what B_L0 meant with the remark, but she decided to let it pass. At least there were no comments about calling in the army!
"And besides,Burlington can always bring in Burlington's Army Boys! A big bunch of snow and a call out to the army might be all we need to have fun!" announced B_LO.
MsB sighed. She should've known the comment would come. "That's Toronto!! Will the rest of the country ever forget?" She secretly cursed the 'nooo-body! guy's dad. (Then MsB thought, gee, B_L0's idea of what acting bad is, was different from hers. MsB's idea 0f bad? Being caught Il1egally parked while grabbing caches! MsB wondered if she would be able to keep up with her younger sister).
"0h, you know, Albertans never forget!" Teased the Alberta resident."Don't tell me you have forgotten, MsB!"
"No, No! an Albertan never does! You keep reminding me about it!!" MsB had to laugh, because it was true. A1bertans have the longest memories.
"But lets start planning our fun! Hopeful1y, al1 of the snow can be gone by the time you land here!"
"No army boys?" B-L0 asked.
"No army boys. That's kinda creepy anyways."
"MsB! You better get a sense of humor! I was just making a joke!" B_L0 said.
"A sense of humor? Mine is a better sense of humor than yours B_L0! Lots of my buddies tell me i am hilarious! just hilarious!"
"0kay, Msb, don't get your knickers in a knot!" B_LO exc1aimed. "let's just drop that subject, okay?" B_L0 couldn't be1ieve how sensitive her older sister had gotten on the subject!
"Anyway, MsB, what have you planned? wi11 we be behaving all the time I am out there? Or will Western Canada be apt to act out?"
'Apt to act out?' MsB thought. Why is she talking like that? Is that how they ta1k in Alberta now? The oi1 out there must have gone to their heads!
"Well, I was hoping you wou1d tell me what it was you wou1d 1ike to do while you're here. Want to go see the fa1ls?
or do you want to go into Hamilton?
or just stick to Burlington.
We always cou1d go to Toronto and see a lot of things.
It's a11 up to you, B_LO!"
B_L0 thought for a moment. She wasn't sure, and she wasn't sure she cared. "MsB, all I want is to visit with my sister. And maybe work on that sense of humor of yours! Ha!! The rest is a11 up to you."
....and it went on 1ike that. MsB & B_LO had a wonderful visit. And did they act out? The B-Sisters will never tell.
